And just like that… welcome CortHouse!

And just like that… we are live.
(But really, not just like that, because this rebrand has been almost a year in the making.)
The past few years have felt like living in a time warp. As a young adult, a lot of life is waking up each day and just figuring it out as you go. In 2023, I was 2,000 miles away from home, recently laid off, and honestly feeling pretty lost. But I knew I had skills, and I knew people would want to work with me.
So I started my LLC, Cort Creative.
It was a leap of faith. I had no idea what I was doing, but it sustained me. It helped me build something for myself while I figured out what was next.
When I moved back to Boston at the end of 2024, I had to decide what to do with my LLC since it was Texas-based. I ultimately decided to close it. It was a little sad, but it also gave me the opportunity to build something new, something bigger.
By then I had grown a lot professionally. More than two years after launching Cort Creative, I had worked with so many brands, put myself out there, and built a portfolio and confidence that I was really proud of.
Then in April 2025, while building a website for a client, I realized something: my own website and brand no longer reflected who I was.
So I started over.
I scrapped my entire website, upgraded my WordPress plan, and bought Elementor (and old flame which quickly became the LOML). I began rebuilding everything from the ground up. But then I hit a snag: what did I actually want my brand to look like?
If you know me, you know making decisions is not my strong suit, especially when it comes to decisions for myself.
Once I landed on CortHouse, the fonts, logo, and color palette went through what felt like a hundred different adjustments. Before I knew it, it was August and I was ready to launch… but something still didn’t feel right. It felt like a brand that couldn’t grow with me.
So I kept going.
I finalized the branding in October 2025. Yes, almost six months after starting the process. But I wanted, no needed, it to feel right.
At the same time, I was working two jobs, traveling a bit, and then the holidays rolled around. Suddenly it was 2026. If I’m being honest, I’m not entirely sure where the first two months of the year went. They flew by. I onboarded a new client and focused on organizing my life and business.
And now we’re here.
Ten months after starting the rebrand, I give you CortHouse. The creative partner you want on the stand.
Even better, I’m officially taking on new clients.
I offer both project-based and retainer work, including content creation, full social media management, simple and beautiful web design, and blog writing and management to help drive SEO.
And I’d love to work with you.
